Thank-you for visiting my site. On these pages you will be able to see some examples of my work, and get an understanding of how I like to do business.

I have been in the painting and decorating trade since 1985 and I first ventured out on my own in 1990. Over that time I have built up a number of regular customers. Because I treat them with respect and do an excellent job for a reasonable rate, these customers recommend me to their families, friends and colleagues.
My business reputation is of the utmost importance to me which is why I make the following promises:

• I have the utmost respect for customers, their belongings and their properties.
• I am punctual and reliable - when I make a commitment, then I honour it

My business has steadily grown, to the point that I now employ a number of people to help me. My apprentices are being formally trained, as I was, through a professional apprenticeship scheme, to ensure that the quality of their work is of the standard I demand. And for further reassurance, I personally supervise every job to ensure that it meets with your satisfaction. I undertake work on the domestic front, private houses, rented accomodation re-paints and new builds. I also work on the commercial sector, offices, factory shutdowns, schools and nursing homes/accomodations.
Because everyone has different tastes, I like to start with a discussion with my customers to understand what they are looking for. I can advise on colour schemes that I know from experience will work, or perhaps some extra touches to finish a job off - coving, ceiling roses, mouldings, rails and panelling. I am also able to replace skirting boards and architraves, should you want a higher profile. And of course with the multitude of DIY programmes on television everyone now has much much more knowledge about what can be done, so we could discuss special effects like graining, rag rolling, colour washing and various other special effects. It is well known that colour can substantially alter the mood of a room, so I can advise on shades that I have found to be effective.
